cashmere comes from the most beautiful livestock farms in Inner Mongolia, in the Gobi Desert, the world’s most famous region when it comes to this natural and noble fiber. Cashmere quality is the combination of three parameters: the fineness of the fiber, its length, and its colour (from brown to white).
there are two types of products on the market. Established brands produce high-quality durable cashmere but their sweaters are often knit too tightly, which results in a stiff, limp fabric. Mass-market retailers on the other hand offer low-quality scratchy sweaters which are often deliberately made with less fabric.
