Cashmere quality is the combination of three parameters: the fineness of the fiber, its length, and its colour (from brown to white).
there are two types of products on the market. Established brands produce high-quality durable cashmere but their sweaters are often knit too tightly, which results in a stiff, limp fabric. Mass-market retailers on the other hand offer low-quality scratchy sweaters which are often deliberately made with less fabric.
